Bees Wax Candle Workshop 11-12pm

Come along to our Learning Centre and learn how to make bees wax candles – Matariki day Friday 14 July 2023

Make a day of it with a bee education talk starting at 10:30, then candle workshops at 11am, and a lip balm workshop at 12:30. If you prefer later in the day, we have another candle workshop at 2pm followed by a herbal balm workshop at 3pm.

Making beeswax candles is an ideal craft for all ages. Creative, fun, easy, and safe.

Each child will make two candles which they can take home.

An opportunity to learn how beeswax is made and used by the bees in the hive.

Parents are welcome as observers or helpers at no extra charge, or can be part of the candle making project at the same cost as the children
